I assist with hygiene flow, appointments, and enlightening patients with oral health and communicating the importance of good oral hygiene through education. Oral health is such an important part of overall health, and my goal is to instill that in our patients’ minds. I also learn new things, too. We’re encouraged to further our knowledge to aid in the education of our patients. It makes each day fun and interesting!
In my spare time, I really enjoy doing crafts and staying active. Also, I enjoy giving back to the community.
I’m responsible for maintaining my patients’ oral health through cleanings, taking X-rays, and providing patient education. I love getting to know my patients. It is great talking to them about their family and getting updates on how everybody is doing every six months. We are a huge family here that looks out for each other. It is fun working here but we all work very hard to give the best care to our patients.
I have three children. My oldest daughter graduated from ECU and earned her Master’s at ASU. My son is a senior at ECU (go Pirates!) and our other daughter is a freshman in high school. My only grandchild for now is my daughter’s morkie, Sandy!
I serve as a liaison between our patients and their insurance companies. I verify coverage monthly and make sure insurance is active when the patient is seen. Insurance is different every day, and I enjoy learning about each insurance plan, because no two plans are ever the same. I love working with my doctors and the rest of the team because of the positive atmosphere and encouragement to always ask questions. I’ve learned a lot in the six years I’ve been here!
I play hand bells at a local United Methodist Church in Wilson, NC and I will be going into my sixth year. I love being able to apply my music abilities to make other people smile. In my spare time, I enjoy doing simple wood-working projects with my husband in our wood working shop.
I’m here to make patients smile, both literally and figuratively. From our front desk, I greet patients with a smile, check them in and out, answer the phones, and schedule appointments. It’s been four fabulous years so far, and I look forward to many more! My team and I genuinely care about our patients and it’s like working with extended family.

I am responsible for preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies, and equipment, taking dental X-rays, and patient management during dental procedures. I joined the team in 2014, and while it’s not been very long, I really enjoy my work. Each day I have experienced working with my dental assistant team I have learned something new and amazing. At home, I have a three-year-old daughter who loves to sing and play. She is my world!
I joined the practice for the first time soon after Hurricane Floyd and was employed by Dr. Harrold for five years. Our family moved away for a while, and as soon as we returned and life went back to normal, I came right back here! I seat patients, inquire about any concerns or problems they may have, take X-rays, and assist the dentist with exams. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them have a positive dental experience. Our staff is great to work with, as well. We are a family! We care about each other as co-workers and friends.
My family, friends, and animals are very important to me. I love life and want the people around me to be happy and love life, too!

My favorite part working at Dental Care Center is getting to know our patients, and helping them in any way I can to make them comfortable when they walk in the door. I have been working here for 15 years and have developed a love for the doctors and my fellow team members. We come to work every morning as a family which builds trust in one another. When a patient leaves the office, hopefully we have put a smile on their face. To me, it’s like home away from home. I love my Job!
I live my life with the motto, “No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up, and never give up!”
I graduated from East Carolina University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Sociology and joined Dental Care Center that same year.
