I enjoy solving problems and helping patients to feel better physically and feel better about their smile. I try to always put my patients at ease and comfort them in order to make their dental visit as relaxing as possible. I love joking and making my patients laugh, all with the hopes of making their visit pleasant. After so many years, I feel like my patients are more like my friends and family!
Before attending dental school, I worked as a dental hygienist for nine years. Since I wanted to help people to the best of my ability, I continued my education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Now, I keep up-to-date on the newest treatments and techniques in endodontics, orthodontics, and implants, all of which our patients can take advantage right here in our office. It is very important to me to educate patients and be a mentor to their oral and overall health.
I was born in Baltimore, Maryland, but since my parents were in the military, we moved around a lot. I’ve been so happy to make Raleigh my home over the past eight years. My husband, Sam, and I have two sons, Vincent and Samineo, and two dogs named Dakota and Rocky. I enjoy spending my free time reading and traveling.
